I laughed out loud when I saw this. I think this must
be one of the worst “torture” tests for kids.

Microsoft messing things up... yet again.

Wow, if I didn’t know any better I would say
Microsoft is trying hard to mess things up for a LOT
of people. It seems like Sidekick users in the USA
are losing a LOT of their personal
data. All I can say is that there should be
heads rolling at Microsoft. Shame, I will give
them an A for effort but that’s as far as it
will go. And I feel sorry for Sidekick users.
When Microsoft gets into the cloud computing
business, I will make triple sure I don’t go
with them. They are just dodgy. Where’s
hyperactive Steve Balmer now? Oh wait, he could
be screaming at people to not let his Sidekick
lose power or he will lose all his stuff.
And to show yet again some really crappy Microsoft ads, here’s another one. Trying to rebrand Windows Mobile as Windows Phone. And using HTC Pure hardware instead of using the Windows Phone they are working on? Seriously, somebody should let the people that come up with the ads go back to mopping the floors.

I finally saw Up!!
I finally managed to go see Up, and in 3D as well. Wow, it was so damn awesome. Dug with his “SQUIRREL!!!” and “POINT!!” had me in stitches. The whole story line was also very well thought out and endearing.
Then I also went to see District 9. I have to admit, I was quite surprised at how well District 9 turned out. Even though it’s a “local” film, the story wasn’t that bad at all. It was quite a refreshing difference compared to other aliens-invaded-earth-OMG films.
I also managed to squeeze in G-Force. It was also very well done and I enjoyed it for it’s entertainment value. Just being able to switch off, relax and enjoy it was a good break from my animation studies.
And a friend of mine gave me The Iron Giant on DVD. I’ve enjoyed it tremendously and will definitely use it as reference during my AM studies. Thanks Leigh-Ann!!
